Samsung has officially announced that its next flagships – Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be launched on February 25 at the Unpacked 2018 event ahead of MWC 2018. While the Galaxy S9 smartphone duo has been leaked several times, throwing light on the design, specifications, and features of the smartphones, a new press image render has surfaced on the Internet, giving us the clearest look at the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ press images have been leaked by the renowned tipster, Evan Blass on Twitter. The press image offers the front look of the smartphones, and that they look a lot similar to the predecessors, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ sport Infinity Displays with a taller aspect ratio, bezel-reduced body, and cameras on the top, along with sensors. Apart from this, the press image doesn’t show the rear sides of the smartphones, so the reported vertically-aligned dual camera setup and fingerprint sensor are still in anticipation.

According to the retail box leaked previously, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will sport a Dual Pixel 12-megapixel camera on the rear that will feature advancements such as ‘Super Speed’ camera technology, ‘Super Slow-mo’ mode, and optical image stabilisation (OIS). The front camera will have an 8-megapixel AF shooter with two apertures – f/1.5 and f/2.4.

Samsung was recently reported to bring its ISOCELL camera technology to the Galaxy S9 smartphone duo. The ISOCELL module is essentially a refined photography technique that uses Samsung’s Tetracell technology to improve low light images by merging four neighbouring pixels to work as one big pixel. Additionally, the smartphones will be a Smart WDR feature that will allow capturing multiple exposures in a single shot.

For the rest of the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will sport 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity curved-edge QHD+ displays, respectively. The duo is expected to be powered by the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC in the US and China, and Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor outside it. This will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage on Galaxy S9 and 6GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage on Galaxy S9+.
