Dishoom box office collections: This Friday's release which stars John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez has been the revelation of the year. From virtually zero expectations, Dishoom has hit back hard and zoomed quickly up the collections charts to become one of the more successful films. However, Dishoom prediction indicates that a Rs 100 cr club entry is very difficult despite the fact that it is a rollicking movie that has appealed to the masses with its smart dialogues and edge-of-seat, thrill-per-second action. The movie appeals to the youth and those who crave on-screen excitement. (Photo: Dhishoom trailer)

While Dishoom collection is nowhere near the Rs 100 crore mark, remember that this exclusive club fixates only on India collections and not worldwide and therefore, the film will find it very difficult to soar high enough to reach there. The task is tough and achieving it will take a lot of people lining up to watch the movie day after day and one of the reasons would be that the movie would not be commanding a premium on its tickets. Having said that, Dishoom collections made merry on Saturday and Sunday, but money dried up on Monday. Dishoom collections plunged as low as Rs 4.85 crore, which is the lowest it has collected over the last 4 days. The movie has a bit of a cushion and the total in the India market has climbed as high as Rs 42.17 crore. The Dishoom collections have ballooned to as high as Rs 71.91 crore as the foundation for this large total was laid in the initial period. (Photo: Dhishoom trailer) -
While Dishoom collections have done well enough in India, its performance in the International market is a concern as John Abraham had a pretty large fan base abroad but they do not seem to be too enthused by the new movie. The trend is expected to continue there. (Photo: Dhishoom trailer)

As far as Dishoom collection prediction is concerned, the film does not have to battle back any rivals in the cinemas as it released with perfect timing with both Rajinikanth's Kabali and Salman Khan's Sultan well on the way out, and so it will dominate the cinemas. Also, those who have seen the movie have been talking well of the performances and this word-of-mouth boost is likely to carry the movie through the week well into the next weekend where it has another chance to make a final dash to the three figure sum.
