Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai: The Roshan lad was launched by his father Rakesh Roshan through this film. Starring two debutants, Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel, this film was a blockbuster hit. The songs, the fashion, the pair, everything became a statement. Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai was the most successful Bollywood film of 2000, becoming the highest grosser of the year following the release of the film, Hrithik became an overnight superstar. He became the only actor to win the Filmfare Award for Best Debut with the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for the same film. Am sure he couldn't have asked for more!
Lakshaya: Lakshaya helmed by Farhan Akhtar proved Hrithik's versatility as an actor and also made a point that the man is here to stay. Roshan plays the role of a carefree guy who transforms into a responsible army Lieutenant fighting for the country. It is a coming-of-age story set against a fictionalized backdrop of the 1999 Kargil War. Hrithik Roshan playing the role of Lieutenant Karan Shergill complemented excellently by Priety Zinta as the budding journalist is the actor's best performance till date. -
Koi Mil Gaya: Rakesh Roshan once again came to his son's rescue with this science fiction which as released in 2003. Koi… Mil Gaya has received the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues, and was screened at the Jerusalem Film Festival and the NatFilm Festival in Denmark. It is widely regarded as Bollywood's very first sci-fi film. The film had two sequels, Krrish and Krrish 3.

Jodhaa Akbar: This period drama was co-written, produced and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. The film centres on the romance between the Mughal Emperor Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar, played by Hrithik Roshan, and the Rajput Princess Jodhaa Bai who becomes his wife, played by Aishwarya Rai. The film had witnessed a lot of controversies over its content and was protested. The film released and impressed the audience.

Dhoom 2: The film released in 2007 was an Indian action thriller film directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra. It is the second in the Dhoom series. It became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2006. Hrithik Roshan as the professional thief slays with his hot bod and killer dance move. Not to forget Aishwariya Rasi who has made an excellent pair with the actor.
