Imagine a bus that can straddle the road, and allow traffic to pass under it! What a boon it would be for India's traffic woes! China is actually testing such a tunnel-like Transit Elevated Bus! The country conducted the first test run of this super-innovative bus that is 22 metre of 72 feet long. A video of such a bus had been doing the rounds on the internet, but with its developers building into reality, everyone is wondering if the experiment may actually be the answer to urban transportation and traffic troubles. The test run was conducted in China's Qinhuangdao city and the bus travelled a distance of 300 metre and stopped in between, allowing people to get on board as a part of the trial. The bus was tried on a specially laid track. (AP Photo)

According to Chinese media reports, a part of the bus which is 7.8 metres (25.6 feet) wide and 4.8 metres (15.7 feet) high, needs further assembling. (Reuters Photo)
