The national capital, along with many other parts of north India, has been reeling under bone-chilling coldwave conditions from the past week. Delhi on Monday experienced a chilly morning as the mercury dipped to 5.3 degrees Celsius, which is two notches below the seasonal average. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported a relative humidity of 95 percent at 8:30 am. The day’s forecast includes shallow fog, and the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 17 degrees Celsius, reflecting the persistently cold weather in the region. (PTI Photo)
