Bluetooth speakers are good for parties and family get-togethers because they are easy to carry and can produce loud sound. They can also be connected to multiple devices and have features like lights and karaoke. Device makers ensure that their party speakers are built to be sturdy so that they can withstand dust and water. Used properly, they can last a long time with proper maintenance.
Although there are now plenty of portable speakers on the market, I am a big fan of Blaupunkt audio products, essentially because of their rich, powerful audio. The German brand manufactures consumer electronics, car audio, and other products. I also feel their speakers are reliable and have good build quality. Blaupunkt has introduced two new speakers that promise to create concert-like vibes at home. These are the Atomik Knightz and Atomik BB60 speakers that produce a deep bass effect and are loud enough to fill crowded spaces. We checked out both the variants and were quite impressed with their high volume and sound quality.
At Rs14,999, the Atomik Knightz is the big brother among the two that produces crystal-clear sound and bass. More specifically, its four high-end, full-range speakers and two bass radiators provide 100 watts of strong, well-balanced sound with deep bass. Herein, RMS (root mean square) element means the speakers can handle 100 watts of power continuously without distortion.
The Atomik Knightz is apt for any party or outdoor activity because of its sturdy construction and IPX6 water and dust protection. Its nine light settings empower the user to customise the colour, brightness, and pattern of the LED lights in order to create the right ambience. Also, there is a big 15600mAh battery with TurboVolt functionality, a feature that allows the speaker’s battery to charge quickly. This is a fast charging technology similar to ‘Quick Charge’ found in smartphones. Most importantly, this speaker produces rich and clear sound and that’s what I liked the most.
On the other hand, the Atomik BB60 is priced at Rs 7,999. It has a sleek, ultra-modern design that features attractive neon accents and a cushioned premium grill. Despite being compact, this system produces an impressive 60-watt output. The BB60 has a 6000mAh battery, offering long hours of listening pleasure, and the built-in TurboVolt standby technology allows for speedy recharging. It is then integrated with IPX6 durability and a karaoke-ready wireless mic, turning any gathering into outdoor fun.
In my evaluation of both the speakers, I found that they present audio well across the frequency range, which makes them a good choice for listening to a broad range of genres and artistes. You can clearly hear the music emitted from them. Even when you pump up their volumes, expect rich and clear sounds. Together, they are a good combination of sound and style.
