OnePlus has finally announced the launch of OxygenOS 15 officially, its latest software version. On October 27, “OxygenOS 15 delivers an incredibly faster and snappier experience compared to OxygenOS 14,” OnePlus wrote in a blog post.

OxygenOS 15: Key features
OnePlus’s new Oxygen0S 15 update will feature many artificial intelligence (AI) -powered features. This includes the following features:
- First you get a ‘AI Detail Boost’ feature. The feature will be capable of converting any cropped or low-resolution image into 4K resolution.
- Next you have an AI reflection eraser that can remove subtle and strong reflections with just a click.
- Then there is the AI unblur feature. This feature has the ability to fix any blurry image. You just need any other apps now to fix your blurred pictures.
- Also you get an ‘Intelligent search’ feature. This feature will provide an update of the on-device search . Now you will be able to get a ‘human-like conversation’ search results.
- Lastly, it has the circle to search feature. This feature was earlier available in Android 14 devices.
In addition to the above AI-powered features, you will also get upgraded options for animations. So first you get the parallel processing.’ This allows you to open and close about 20 apps back to back at a much faster rate than you usually get on iOS. Also you get more storage in your updated OnePlus device. The company claims that with this update your operating system (OS) will use 20% less storage space.
Is your device eligible for the update?
So, what are the devices which are eligible for the OxygenOS 15 update? Given below are the list of devices eligible for the update. The update will come first in October to OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R and OnePlus 12R (Genshin Impact Edition). Then in November the update will be available in your OnePlus Open and in the OnePlus Pad 2.
Next from December the OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus 11R 5G, OnePlus Nord 4 CE
OnePlus Nord 4 CE Lite and the OnePlus Pad will get the OxygenOS 15 update. Then next year the OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus 10T and the OnePlus 10 Pro will get the update.
Lastly, from February 2025, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 and the OnePlus 10R will get the new update.
