A month ago, the OnePlus 13s debuted the brand’s first AI feature suite, called the OnePlus AI Suite. As the name suggests, this feature introduced a bunch of generative AI features that could change the basic user experience on new OnePlus devices. The feature was also released to the OnePlus Nord 5. Since the OnePlus 13s and Nord 5 weren’t the best phone the brand makes, we expected OnePlus to eventually release it on its other premium devices. That day has finally arrived.
OnePlus has begun rolling out its new AI suite to its flagship OnePlus 13 and the more mid-range OnePlus 13R smartphones. The AI Suite is being rolled out to these devices as part of a new software update along with a couple of bug fixes and improvements. Users will need to manually check for the latest update patch and download it at their convenience. Once installed, the device will need to be restarted in order to apply the changes.
What does the OnePlus AI Suite offer?
As part of the new AI Suite, OnePlus is offering several individual features to improve the user experience.
Plus Mind: This feature is designed to act as an intelligent personal assistant. The Plus Mind aims to to help users “store, organise, and retrieve information efficiently,” from anywhere on the device. Think of it as an AI-enabled clipboard.
AI VoiceScribe: This feature lets users record, summarise, and translate calls and meetings on both the phone’s native dialler as well as chatting apps like WhatsApp
AI Search: This feature allows users to search for files, notes, settings, and Mind Space content using natural language queries.
AI Translation: This is a standalone app that brings together all translation tools, including text, voice, camera, and screen-based translations.
AI Reframe: This feature analyses images, identifies subjects and suggests creative composition alternatives.
AI Perfect Shot: With this feature, you can enhance group photos by replacing facial expressions of up to 20 subjects.
