The highly anticipated iQOO Neo 9 Pro is expected to make its debut in December, and ahead of its official launch, key specifications have been tipped online revealing some key updates about the phone. It suggests that the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will feature several upgrades over its predecessor but also retain some old specs.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar (via 9to5 mobiles), the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate offering a smooth and immersive viewing experience. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC which includes a powerful setup with a prime Cortex-X4 core running at 3.25GHz, three Cortex-X4 performance cores at 2.85GHz, and four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.0GHz. Supporting the graphics is a Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU, and there’s a dedicated Q1 gaming chip to enhance graphics performance and reduce latency in games. The phone is said to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster.

Brar’s specs sheet suggests that the upcoming Neo could boast an impressive camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. Additionally, the device is expected to house a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Powering the device could be a 5000mAh battery which is rumoured to support 120W fast charging. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is expected to run on Android 14 out of the box, offering the latest software features and security updates.
While the official pricing and availability details for the iQOO Neo 9 Pro have not yet been announced, it is expected to be priced competitively in the mid-range smartphone segment. The device is expected to launch in India in December 2023.
