At Google’s recent Made by Google event in Mountain View, California, the tech giant introduced a host of exciting new products, including the new Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2. The Made by Google event took place at company’s Bay View campus in California and was also live streamed for everyone on YouTube.
The company unveiled several new products at the event including a new Pixel Fold that marked Google’s foray into the foldable phone segment first in India. The new Pixel 9 series was also unveiled along with company’s new range of wearables- a watch and earbuds.
The new Pixel Watch 3 comes in two sizes: 41 mm and 45 mm. It features a new Actua display that is 2x brighter, with up to 2000 nits of brightness and a dynamic refresh rate between 1 and 60 Hz. The watch offers advanced running capabilities, including real-time guidance for pace and heart rate, and detailed tracking of running metrics like cadence and stride length.
Pixel watch 3 also includes readiness and cardio load tracking to help users balance their workouts with recovery. It integrates with Fitbit Premium to provide personalised run recommendations and a Morning Brief summarising health metrics and daily weather. It has a battery life of up to 24 hours with the always-on display or up to 36 hours in Battery Saver mode and supports fast charging, with the 41 mm model charging 20% faster than its predecessor.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are equipped with the Tensor A1 chip, which enhances audio processing and noise cancellation. The earbuds feature Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 2.0, which adapts to the environment to cancel up to twice as much noise as previous models. The audio device is equipped with large 11 mm drivers for bass and a new high-frequency chamber for treble.
The new Pixel earbuds also support Clear Calling technology to reduce background noise during calls. With Conversation Detection, they automatically switch to Transparency mode when you start speaking and resume noise cancellation when the conversation ends. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 support precise location tracking through the Find My Device network and automatic audio switching between devices.
Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Buds Pro 2 prices
The Google Pixel Watch 3 is priced at Rs 39,900 for the 41mm model and Rs 43,900 for the 45mm model. The pre-orders are live. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 costs Rs 22,900. Both devices are designed to integrate seamlessly with Google’s ecosystem.
