Samsung has given a glimpse of their next generation of flagship phones on e-commerce giant Flipkart. The e-commerce portal carries a Samsung micro site which shows the banner with Samsung’s logo on one side and Galaxy branding on the other. One can assume that the next Samsung flagship is going to be camera specific going by the banner, which read: ‘The Camera. Reimagined’. The words go along with the number ‘9’. The banner further reads ‘Coming on 25.02.2018’. And ‘Stay tuned for more updates!’
As mentioned earlier, Samsung is said to announce the next flagship, that is, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at the Mobile World Congress 2018. And with this tease on Flipkart, the availability in India has been confirmed as well. However, before you head on to Flipkart to buy the phone, you may have to wait a little longer. Samsung India has said that the Samsung Galaxy S9 launch in India is scheduled after the global unveils at the MWC 2018.
Another report from Korea has surfaced which claims that Samsung will start with the pre-orders in different markets very soon after the launch. While the banner on Flipkart suggests that the camera will be one of the big highlights for the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, a report by German website Winfuture.de has also hinted at the same. As per the report, Galaxy S9 camera will have a 12MP sensor on the back with aperture size ranging from f/1.5 to f/2.4 apertures. While the Samsung Galaxy S9+ will have a dual camera sensor 12MP. One of the sensors will have dual apertures of f/1.5 and f/2.4 meanwhile the other lens will have a single aperture with f/2.4 size. Both Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 cameras will focus on low-light photography and slow-motion image capturing.
