Flipkart Big Billion Days sale starts Oct 8, or Oct 7 for Plus members and runs through Oct 15. Similarly, Amazon Great Indian Festival also starts on Oct 8. These two sales are believed to offer the best discounts, especially on electronics and smartphones, during the year. Several brands like Apple, Samsung, Google Pixel, Vivo, Motorola, and more are expected to get a discount during the sale.
While Google readies to launch Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro tomorrow, i.e., Oct 4. The “affordable” Pixel phone—Pixel 7a—is as fresh as mint. For those unaware, Pixel flagships are launched every year during the fall, however, the affordable Pixel phone marks its entry just after the first quarter of calendar.

Pixel 7a price during Flipkart Big Billion Days sale
During the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, Pixel 7a is teased to cost about Rs 31,499 as opposed to its retail price set at Rs 43,999. However, take note that this price may include exchange bonus and bank card discounts. However, sales like Flipkart BBD and Amazon GIF are known to offer the best price available, especially on flagship brands.

What do you get with Pixel 7a?
You get a 6.1” FHD+ OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. There’s an on-screen fingerprint sensor, too, like its predecessor. Under the hood, it houses Tensor G2 chipset, similar to Pixel 7 and its Pro variant, combined with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of camera, Pixel 7a gets dual-camera setup on the back: 64MP primary lens with OIS and 13MP ultra-wide lens. There’s a 13MP lens on the front for video chats and selfies. It comes in four flavours—Charcoal, Snow, Coral and Sea.
However, if this doesn’t excite you. You may also consider going for its elder sibling Pixel 7 which will be available for Rs 36,499, effectively.
