In an address at the Milken Institute Global Conference 2025, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang offered his stance on artificial intelligence and its future role in employment. He highlighted that, ”Every job will be affected, some jobs will be created, but every job will be affected,” as per a report by The Economic Times.

He emphasised that the real threat is not AI itself but being left behind by those who learn to use it efficiently. He warned that, ”You are not going to lose your job to AI, but you are going to lose your job to somebody who uses AI.”

Jensen Huang on global workforce shortage

Opposing widespread fears of automation-driven unemployment, Huang stated about the reality of a global worker shortage. He mentioned, ”For the very first time in history, we actually can imagine the opportunity to put 30-40 million workers back into the workforce.” As per him, AI can reduce the entry restriction to complex tasks, which usually require expertise in coding.

Talking about ”vibe coding,” Huang described that modern AI tools permit users to interact through sketches, prompts, and speech. He pointed out AI power, saying, ”AI tools speak whatever language you want it to speak.”

He termed artificial intelligence as the best way to increase the global GDP. Huang pleaded with professionals to adapt to it rather than resist it. He advises the users not to be the person who ignores this technology, and this results in a loss to them.

Huang’s comment comes as concerns about job displacement continue to dominate the debate. However, as per recent reports, including one from SEO.AI, indicate that 14% of workers have already experienced disruptions related to AI and the overall impact has been less than what was initially feared.
