In a heartfelt Instagram post, Tyagi revealed that her gown was created using 1,000 meters of fabric and weighed over 20 kg. “Stepping onto the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival as a debutant feels surreal. I poured my heart and soul into creating this pink gown, which took 30 days, 1000 meters of fabric, and weighs over 20kg. The journey has been intense, but every moment was worth it. I’m overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the love and support from all of you. This is a dream come true, and I hope my creation dazzles you as much as your support has inspired me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!” she wrote.
Her post garnered enthusiastic reactions from the fashion community. Influencer Komal Pandey commented, “Hard work and talent in equal parts. You’re legendary, Nancy. Nancy Tyagi, born in Baranwa, Uttar Pradesh, rose to fame with her creative videos recreating celebrity outfits. Over the years, she has skillfully replicated designer ensembles worn by stars like Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. Notably, she recreated Padukone’s Louis Vuitton gown from the Oscars 2023 and Bhatt’s grey puff-sleeved gown by Korean designer Miss Sohee, which Bhatt wore at the Red Sea International Film Festival.
