Recently surpassing Gautam Adani on Forbes India’s 100 Richest 2023 list, Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, now holds the title of the wealthiest man in India with an estimated net worth of $92 billion (approximately Rs 7,65,805 crore), ranking 12th among the world’s richest billionaires.

Known for his extravagant lifestyle, Ambani’s vast wealth is evident in his collection of opulent homes, rare vehicles, and more. While Antilia, his residence in Mumbai, stands as the second most expensive home globally after Buckingham Palace, Ambani has expanded his real estate holdings to include luxurious properties in exotic locations around the world.

In a recent transaction reported by the New York Post, Ambani sold his upscale apartment in Manhattan’s West Village for a staggering $9 million (approximately Rs 74.5 crore). However, he still possesses luxurious properties in Dubai, the US, and the UK. Let’s take a virtual tour of these international gems.

Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire, UK:

In 2021, Ambani acquired Stoke Park Country Club in Buckinghamshire, UK, a 900-year-old 300-acre property with 49 bedrooms, a 27-hole golf course, 13 tennis courts, and 14 acres of private gardens.

Previously featured in James Bond films, the property was purchased for £57 million (approximately Rs 592 crore).

Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York:

Expanding his real estate portfolio, Ambani acquired the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Manhattan, New York, for a jaw-dropping $98.15 million (approximately Rs 813 crores). The hotel, situated in the Deutsche Bank Center in Columbus Circle, is known for its five-star luxury and has 248 spacious rooms, a 14,500-square-foot spa, and state-of-the-art fitness facilities.

Beach-side Villa on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai:

Ambani invested approximately $80 million (Rs 640 crores) in a 3,000-square-foot mansion in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, for his son Anant Ambani. This beach-side villa boasts ten bedrooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a private spa, and exclusive access to a 70-meter-long private beach.

Lavish Villa on Palm Jumeirah Worth Rs 1,350 Crore:

Breaking records with his real estate endeavours, Ambani acquired another opulent villa on Palm Jumeirah for $163 million (Rs 1,350 crore approx). This property, purchased from the family of Kuwaiti tycoon Mohammed Alshaya, is situated near his previously acquired bungalow, solidifying Ambani’s presence in Dubai’s luxury real estate market.
