Khambatta, who had been battling a prolonged illness, left behind a legacy that transformed a modest family business into an international name.

Areez Khambatta took over his father Phiroja Khambatta’s modest business and elevated it to new heights through his dedication and hard work. Under his leadership, Rasna expanded its presence to over 60 countries, becoming a staple in households worldwide.
Personal Life
Areez Khambatta was married to Persis, and together they had three children: Piruz, Delna, and Ruzan. He also cherished his grandchildren: Avan, Areez, Firoza Arzeen, Arzad, and Arnavaz.
Career and Contributions
Beyond his business success, Khambatta made significant contributions to Indian industry and society. He served as the Commandant of the Ahmedabad Home Guards & Civil Defence for 20 years, demonstrating a commitment to social service. His efforts were recognized with numerous awards, including the President of India’s Home Guard and Civil Defence Medal, the Paschimi Star, the Samarseva, and the Sangram Medals. He also received the National Citizen’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Commerce from the President of India.
