Why to celebrate Maasika Mahotsav?
According to a statement from Thane-based NGO Muse Foundation, the festival intends to dispel period poverty, question menstruation taboos, and start important global dialogues regarding periods.
Nishant Bangera, the founder of Muse Foundation, listed the festival’s highlights for this year, stating that it will be observed for the second time in Pakistan and that it will be held for the first time in Puducherry, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab.
