The Bollywood film Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, premiered on Sunday, March 30th, coinciding with the Eid 2025 holiday weekend. It achieved a strong opening day at the Indian box office, earning Rs 26 crore. On day 11 the film garnered Rs 68 lakh by 5 PM, pushing its total pan-India earnings to Rs 106.43 crore.
Although initially described as a political drama, reviews indicated that Sikandar shifted towards a more conventional Bollywood action film. Despite varied critical reception, the movie surpassed Rs 90 crore in its first week of release. It subsequently joined the Rs 100 crore club by the end of its second week.

According to data from the industry tracker Sacnilk, Sikandar had a robust start, earning Rs 26 crore on its opening Sunday. This was followed by a rise in collections to Rs 29 crore on Monday. However, subsequent days saw a significant decline in earnings. The movie earned Rs 19.5 crore on its third day and then dropped further to Rs 9.75 crore on its fourth day.
This downward trend continued through the first week, which ended with a total of Rs 90.25 crore. The second week’s performance was inconsistent, with earnings of Rs 3.5 crore on day six, a slight increase to Rs 4 crore on day seven, and Rs 4.75 crore on day eight, before falling again to Rs 1.75 crore on day nine and Rs 1.5 crore on day ten.
