Kangana Ranaut’s, Emergency, released on January 17, has entered its third week at the box office. The film has experienced a mix of highs and lows in terms of box office performance. As per the Industry tracker Sacnilk’s report, the movie, featuring Kangana alongside notable actors like Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Choudhary, Milind Soman, and the late Satish Kaushik, saw a decline in earnings on Monday. After a modest weekend showing with Rs 0.15 crore on Saturday and Rs 0.19 crore on Sunday, it earned only Rs 0.05 crore on its third Monday.

Despite facing protests, controversies, and bans, Emergency had a solid start at the box office, debuting with Rs 14.3 crore collected in 1st week. It competed fiercely with other releases like Azaad, starring Ajay Devgn, and Game Changer, featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. However, its numbers dwindled in the second week, and by its third Monday, the film had earned just Rs 0.05 crore, bringing the total to Rs 17.94 crore in India.
