Thamma, set in the same universe as the other films in the MHCU, follows Alok (Khurrana) as he finds out something significant and supernatural about his heritage. He is unexpectedly thrust into a conflict with the rogue king of vampires played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui and combines forces with the mysterious Tadaka (Mandanna) to bring him down. Khurrana and Mandanna play star-crossed lovers from a past life while Siddiqui plays the role of the main antagonist. Paresh Rawal and Geeta Aggarwal play Alok’s parents and make for a strong supporting cast along with Sathyaraj and Faisal Malik. Faces both new and old to the MHCU also make stunning cameos.
Rooted in folklore according to director Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma is the most romantic of all MHCU movies and features hilarious and punchy one-liners which are bound to hook the audience. This movie is perfect for those who are looking to prolong the feeling of recent and soon to come festivities.
