Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 6: The action-drama sequence marks the comeback of Tiger Shroff‘s Ronnie in Baaghi 4. Despite a star-studded cast, there are no takers for the Sanjay Dutt starrer midweek. After a consistent drop in collections in its first week, Baaghi 4 saw a 55% dip on weekdays and struggled to cross Rs 2 crore on Wednesday. Overall, after six days, Baaghi 4 could not go beyond the Rs 40 crore mark.
As per industry tracker, Sacnilk, Baaghi 4 has collected Rs 42 crore so far after grossing Rs 19.25 crore on its opening weekend. As the weekend approaches, the Baaghi-verse flick struggles to find a base among other upcoming films. Worldwide, the film has grossed more than Rs 63 crore, recovering nearly 59% from its reported Rs 80 crore budget. Baaghi 4 is set to enter Tiger Shroff’s highest-grossing films, including Munna Michael (Rs 43.38 crore) and A Flying Jatt (Rs 57.49 crore).
Baaghi 4 box office day 6: Meagre occupancy
The downward trend also comes after the horror film, The Conjuring: Last Rites, had made huge waves at the Indian box office, with a Rs 63.55 crore collection overall. As occupancy rates dipped, Baaghi 4 only managed to get 10% audiences from Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Lucknow. The Tiger Shroff-starrer attracted maximum audience from Jaipur, with cinemas going nearly empty in Surat, Hyderabad, Bhopal, and Pune.
The A. Harsha directorial is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Also starring Sanjay Dutt, Baaghi 4 features leading ladies Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa in key roles. Reviews online have praised the supporting characters played by Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir.
Baaghi 4: Online reviews
Baagi 4 received several cuts from the Central Board of Film Certification for its portrayal of violence and now carries an ‘A’ certificate. There were 23 visual and audio cuts recommended to the Tiger Shroff film.
Unimpressed by the star power, fans online did not praise the absence of “heavy vfx or huge superstar.” The IMDb website rates the film a 2.6 out of 10, with viewers labeling it as “time waste” and “Bollywood at its lowest.” Meanwhile, others remarked that the popcorn inside the theatre was better than the film. “Digging around in the bag in the dark trying to find the last piece was more interesting than the movie,” a review read.
“This installment is the absolute low point of the Baaghi series. It has every cliche you can imagine – forced romance, exaggerated villains, superhuman fight scenes, and zero logic,” said a user on the website.
