Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘PK’ movie box office collections have touched the Rs 200-crore mark in just nine days, equalling the record made by the super-hit ‘Dhoom 3’. The film collected Rs 17.12 crore on its second Saturday since its release and the overall net collections now stand at Rs 214.65 crore.
There are now seven films in the Rs 200 crore club, Aamir Khan’s previous film ‘Dhoom 3’ achieving the feat in nine days, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krrish 3’ in 10 days, Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ in 11 days, Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express in 15 days and ‘Happy New Year’ in 19 days and finally, Aamir again with ‘3 Idiots’ in 70 days.
With ‘PK’ entering the Rs 200 crore club, Aamir Khan becomes the only actor who now has a total of three films that have crossed the coveted mark.

‘PK’ has held up well in box office over the second weekend with the Aamir Khan movie doing excellent business in the multiplexes, taking away audience from just-released Rajinikanth’s ‘Lingaa’ (Hindi) and ‘Ugly’.
During the last few days, ‘PK’ box collections had beaten ‘3 Idiots’ (Rs 202.47 crore), ‘Happy New Year’ (Rs 202 crore) and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (Rs 198.78 crore). The film is now the fifth biggest grossing Bollywood movie of all-time.
