In an intriguing tweet, business journalist and Managing Editor of ‘Moneylife’ Sucheta Dalal has cast aspersions on Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ movie box office collections after a visit to the cinema.
According to Dalal, a cinema in Mumbai barely had anyone watching it despite the fact that the movie is ratcheting up its box office collections and has become the highest grosser in India with over Rs 300 cr in earnings – it has also turned into the first movie in India to cross the Rs 300 cr mark and is well on its way to obliterate the all-time Bollywood record of Rs 500+cr mark set by Aamir Khan’s own movie ‘Dhoom 3’.
However, all those figures have not really impressed Dalal, who asked, ‘Who paid?’.
Check out what Sucheta Dalal had to say about ‘PK’ in her tweet:
So delhi was flocking 2 c #PK. Most of mumbai wasn’t.Mystery of collections remains. Why d bizarre aggression on behalf of PK? #PaidTrolls?
