Tata is inviting applications from all aspiring innovators for the Tata Imagination Challenge. To apply, candidates must visit the official website – unstop.com. The first round of this exciting challenge, titled ‘Tata Brand Assessment,’ will conclude on September 21 at 11:59 pm.
Round 1: Tata Brand Assessment
Round 1 comprises of 20 multiple-choice questions which are to be tackled within a 20-minute time frame. This stage evaluates candidates’ general knowledge, aptitude, and their ‘Tata quotient.’ Following the conclusion of the first round, successful candidates will progress to round 2—the ‘Gamified Assessment.’
Round 2: Gaming Assessment
This phase will assess candidates’ logical thinking, critical reasoning, and click speed. It will kick off on September 28 at 12 pm and will wrap up on October 3 at 11:59 pm.
Round 3: #imaginethat Idea Pitch
In the third round, titled ‘#imaginethat Idea Pitch,’ participants will have the exciting opportunity to present their innovative ideas to the Tata group. They will create a two-minute video outlining their concept, its significance, and how it promises to drive positive change. Additionally, they will provide written responses to three short questions about their ideas. This phase runs from October 6 (12 pm) to October 16 (11:59 pm).
What next?
The top 50 candidates with the most promising ideas will advance as finalists, earning the chance to pitch their concepts directly to Tata leaders. Prior to the grand finale, each finalist will be paired with an ‘Idea Buddy’ from the Tata group. This collaboration aims to refine and perfect their idea presentations for the finale. This phase takes place from October 31 (12 pm) to November 19 (11:59 pm).
There will also be Popular Choice Awards, where the top 50 ideas will be open to voting. The three ideas with the highest number of votes will emerge as winners. Voting commences from November 10 (12 pm) and concludes on November 15 (8 pm).
Round 4: The Grand Finale
The dates for the eagerly awaited grand finale are yet to be announced. During this stage, candidates will have the unique opportunity to present their ideas to a distinguished panel of senior Tata leaders. They will share insights about the challenges they aim to address, the potential impact of their ideas, and their personal career aspirations. The top 13 winners of the Tata Imagination Challenge will receive a prize of Rs 2 lakh each and fast-track entry into the Tata Administrative Service.
