The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has begun the application process for the General Duty (GD) constable recruitment on September 5, 2024. Aspiring candidates can now apply for the 2025 SSC GD constable positions by visiting the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in. The deadline for submitting applications is October 14, 2024.
The SSC GD constable exam for 2025 is scheduled to take place between January and February. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 39,481 vacancies, with successful candidates being appointed as constables in various forces, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and the Secretariat Security Force (SSF). Other roles include Rifleman (General Duty) in the Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy positions in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
The selection process for the SSC GD 2025 recruitment will consist of four stages: a computer-based test (CBT), followed by a physical efficiency test (PET), a physical standard test (PST), and a final medical examination.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), women, and ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempt from the application fee. Other applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs 100.
