The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE 2024) has an extended application window closing today, February 5. Those interested can apply on the official website of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) at wbjeeb.nic.in. Initially set for January 31, the deadline was extended in the revised schedule.

As per the updated timeline, the application form correction window is set to open on February 7 and will be available until February 9, 2024.

Admit card:

Admit cards for candidates are scheduled to be released on April 18, with the entrance examination taking place on April 28. The WBJEE 2024 will be conducted in two shifts – the Mathematics (Paper 1) exam in the first shift from 11 am to 1 pm, and the Physics and Chemistry exam in the second shift from 2 pm to 4 pm.

While the board has not yet announced the result date for WBJEE 2024, candidates are advised to stay tuned for updates.

Application fee:

The application fee for WBJEE 2024 is Rs. 500 for General male candidates, ₹400 for General Female candidates, and all Male candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW categories. Female candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW, along with Third Gender candidates, have an application fee of ₹300.

WBJEE serves as a state-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture courses at participating institutions in West Bengal. For Engineering courses, the board also considers JEE Main results during the counseling process. Meanwhile, admission to architecture courses is based on the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or Paper 2 of JEE Main (BArch/BPlanning).
