upGrad has introduced a collaborative Financial Modeling and Analysis programme in conjunction with PwC India, a professional services firm, catering to aspiring young professionals seeking to establish careers in various financial and analytical roles. This initiative falls under the purview of upGrad Campus, according to an official release.

Spanning a duration of four months and encompassing more than 220 hours of educational content, the curriculum has been crafted through a joint effort between upGrad and PwC India’s industry experts. It aims to provide a robust grounding in essential financial concepts such as forecasting, valuation and financial modeling, in addition to cutting-edge tools like Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel and GenAI, the release mentioned.

“This qualification aims to enable professionals to develop a deeper understanding of the subject along with practical application. It is also a perfect match for the students, who aim at creating a niche for themselves by gaining subject matter understanding and hands-on experience of new age tools,” Vivek Prasad, partner, markets leader, PwC India, said.

The programme further includes over 80 hours of interactive live sessions with accomplished faculty members, ensuring real-world insights and hands-on guidance. These sessions are recorded for future reference and remain accessible for up to three years. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate accredited by the PwC India Academy. To facilitate post-programme opportunities, comprehensive placement support is offered, guaranteeing three interview opportunities, as per the release.
