UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has commenced the registration process for the first round of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) on September 23. Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal before the application deadline on September 28, 5pm. The detailed schedule for choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to assigned colleges will be released shortly. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 3,000.
How to Apply for UP NEET PG Counselling 2024:
1. Visit the official website at upneet.gov.in.
2. Click on the link for ‘UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 Round 1 Registration.’
3. Log in using your credentials.
4. Select the course, enter your roll number and date of birth, and submit.
5. Upload the necessary documents and complete the submission.
6. Save and print the confirmation page for future use.
Documents Required for Counselling:
Participants must present the following documents during the counselling process:
– Allotment letter copy
– NEET PG admit card
– NEET PG or NEET MDS scorecard
– Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
– Marksheets of all MBBS exams
– MBBS degree certificate
– Certificate of completion of the compulsory rotatory internship
– Permanent registration certificate from the State Medical Council, MCI, or DCI
– Reservation certificate (if applicable)
Eligibility Criteria:
– Candidates who appeared and qualified in NEET PG 2024 or NEET MDS 2024 are eligible for the counselling process.
– Those whose internships are completed by June 30, 2024, are eligible for NEET MDS 2024 counselling.
– For NEET PG 2024 (MD/MS/Diploma/DNB) counselling, candidates must have completed their internships by August 15, 2024.
– For state quota postgraduate seats in government institutions, candidates who completed MBBS/BDS from medical/dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh, except for AMU, BHU, AIIMS Raebareli, and AIIMS Gorakhpur, are eligible.
– Candidates from UP and other states who completed MBBS/BDS from medical/dental colleges can apply for private postgraduate courses.
– Reserved category candidates from Uttar Pradesh will be considered according to the reserved category cutoff issued by NBEMS for NEET PG and NEET MDS 2024.
– Reserved category candidates from other states must meet the unreserved category cutoff, without access to reserved category benefits.
– Indian citizens or those of Indian origin who obtained their medical qualifications abroad must have passed the FMGE exam and be registered with NMC/MCI or the State Medical Council. They should also complete their internship by August 15, 2024, to be eligible for seats in private medical/dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
