The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is set to announce the RBSE Class 8 Results 2025 today. As confirmed by the Board, the results will be released during a press conference. Following the announcement, students will be able to access their results on the official websites — rajshaladarpan.nic.in and rajpsp.nic.in.

The RBSE Class 8 board exams for 2025 were held from March 20 to April 2, with more than 12 lakh students registered for the exams. The results are currently in the final stage of processing and are likely to be announced today, in line with the tentative schedule.

How to check RBSE class 8th result

Here’s the step-by-step guide to access the scorecards online:

  1. Visit the official websites: rajshaladarpan.nic.in or rajpsp.nic.in.
  2. Look for and click on the link that says ‘RBSE Class 8th Result 2025.’
  3. Enter your seat number in the given field.
  4. Click on the ‘Submit’ or ‘View Result’ button.
  5. Your marks will appear on the screen.
  6. Download the result or take a screenshot for future reference.
  7. Please note: The online mark sheet is provisional.
  8. You will receive the official mark sheet and certificates from your school in the coming days.

In 2024, over 13 lakh students appeared for the RBSE Class 8 exams, with 12,33,702 passing — resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.50%. The results were announced on May 17, and students accessed them using their roll number and either their district name or date of birth.

Looking further back at the 2023 results, 12,50,800 students took the exam, out of which 11,97,321 passed — pushing the overall pass percentage to 95.72%. Girls outperformed boys once again, with a pass percentage of 96.39% for girls compared to 95.14% for boys. The top-performing districts included Sikar, Dausa, Alwar, Ajmer, and Nagaur.

RBSE Class 8 result scorecards include subject-wise marks, overall grades, and the student’s pass/fail status, which determines promotion to the next academic class.

RBSE Class 8 passing criteria

To pass the Class 8 board exams, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate. Those scoring below 33% in more than two subjects will be considered failed and may have to repeat the academic year.
