The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled an exam center for the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) due to a technical issue at one of the centres in Bengaluru. This change will affect over 100 candidates, who will be provided with new admit cards for the rescheduled exam dates of January 28/29.

In an official statement, the NTA clarified, “Due to an unavoidable technical snag at the Examination Centre eTalent (TC code- 40086), located at No. 3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Amaravathi Layout, Nagara Bavi, Nalagadderanahalli, Peenya Bengaluru, Karnataka, the examination for 114 candidates originally scheduled for 22 January 2025 is now rescheduled to 28/29 January 2025.”

Earlier, on January 21, a similar revision was made to an exam center in the UAE due to unforeseen circumstances.

JEE Main 2025 is being held across multiple centers nationwide and in 15 cities abroad. The exam will continue until January 30.

This year’s JEE Main is divided into two phases, with the first phase taking place in January and the second in April. The exam duration for paper 1 (BE/BTech), paper 2A (BArch), or paper 2B (BPlanning) is three hours. Paper 1 will be conducted in two shifts, with the morning session from 9 am to 12 pm and the afternoon session from 3 pm to 6 pm. Paper 2, which includes BArch and BPlanning, will last three and a half hours and will be held on January 30 in the afternoon shift, starting at 3 pm.
