The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has started the registration process for the MHT CET on its official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Eligible candidates can apply until February 15.

The MHT CET 2025 for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group will take place from April 19 to April 27, excluding April 24. General category candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 800, while candidates from reserved categories and PwD applicants need to pay Rs 600.

In 2024, the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group exam was conducted between April 22 and 30, while the PCM group exam took place from May 2 to 16. A total of 37 candidates across both groups achieved a 100 percentile score.

MHT CET 2025: Syllabus and exam pattern

The questions will be based on the syllabus provided by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra. Approximately 20% of the weightage will cover the Class 11 curriculum, while 80% will focus on Class 12 topics.

There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. However, the difficulty level for the PCM section will be on par with JEE Main, and the biology section will align with NEET UG standards. The questions will primarily test application-based knowledge.

The MHT CET is conducted for admission to professional courses in engineering, technology, pharmacy, planning, and agricultural education. For the academic year 2025-26, the entrance test will be held at multiple exam centers both within Maharashtra and outside the state.
