Mobile internet services in Jharkhand will remain suspended for over five hours Saturday and Sunday due to the Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE), according to an official statement.

As per the mandate, the suspension will occur from 8 AM to 1:30 PM on both days to prevent any potential malpractice during the exam.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has assured that he is in discussions with senior officials to ensure thorough preparations for the examination.

“Negligence will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” Soren emphasized on X. He added, “If anybody tries to do something wrong during the examination, even by mistake, we will deal with them strictly.”

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission will oversee the examination at 823 centers, with approximately 639,000 candidates expected to participate, according to a JSSC official.
