The Joint Admission Test (JAM) registration period will be closed by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras at midnight on October 13, 2023. The IIT JAM registration form can be completed on the JOAPS website, joaps.iitm.ac.in by candidates who have not yet submitted their applications. Additionally, there is an application cost for the IIT JAM 2024, which must be paid before submission.

Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) groups, as well as female candidates, are exempt from paying the Rs. 900 application fee. Whereas, Rs. 1,800 will be charged to all other candidates.

As per the released schedule, the entrance exam will be conducted on February 11, 2024 and the results will be out on March 22, 2024. Candidates can download the scorecard on April 2, 2024.

On the official website, candidates who have not yet registered can complete the JAM application form 2024 online. They can follow the instructions below to learn how to complete the form:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in.
  • Step 2: Select the JOAPS portal from the homepage.
  • Step 3. At this point, click on: Register for JAM 2024.
  • Step 4: Register by providing the details prompted.
  • Step 5: Enter your enrollment ID and password to login.
  • Step 6: Complete the application, add photographs, and submit the required funds.
  • Step 7: Submit the form and print it off for your records.

Candidates must also complete the application form and bring all the required documents with them. Look over the list below:

  • Mark sheets and a diploma for the 10th grade

  • Graduation transcripts
  • The colored passport-sized photo in digital form
  • An image of the signature was scanned
