The University of Delhi (DU) has released the date sheet for its semester exams, set to run until December 29. The exams will take place from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The schedule applies to both regular students and those enrolled in the open learning program for Part 1, 3, and 5 semester exams.
Exams will commence on December 12 and conclude on December 29. Students are urged to visit the official DU website to review the date sheet and mark it on their calendars to avoid last-minute confusion.
In related news, DU has launched its placement and internship drive, which will be held from December 4 to 5 at the Conference Centre, located opposite the Botany Department, Gate Number 4, DU.
Meanwhile, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), a constituent college of DU, has successfully wrapped up its placement season for 2023-24. Over 500 offers were made by more than 135 companies across 15 sectors, including consulting, finance, startups, FMCG, insurance, and more. The number of recruiters increased by 29% this year.
The highest annual package offered was Rs 35 lakh, with an average salary of Rs 8.63 lakh and a median salary of Rs 7.15 lakh. The total value of the offers stands at approximately Rs 43.42 crore. The average CTC for the top 10% of students is Rs 19.62 lakh, Rs 17.01 lakh for the top 20% and Rs 15.06 lakh for the top 30%.
