Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) results are anticipated to be released by the end of July or early August, according to officiating vice-chancellor Shakeel Ahmed of Jamia Millia Islamia on Tuesday. “We had a meeting with the deans and have reached categorical conclusions (on CUET). In recent years, the admission process has experienced delays. There is a hope that a retest of CUET UG will be conducted. By the end of July or the first week of August, the results should be released. Although our admission process will be slightly delayed, it will not be as prolonged as in previous years. Importantly, there will be no impact on the academic or semester calendar,” he added.
Additionally, he disclosed that there will be a small delay in university admissions, but that this delay will not affect the academic or semester calendar. “After the last date for the draft key challenge, experts review the challenges and prepare the final key. It usually takes about a week or two for NTA to complete this process, but they are committed to announcing the results promptly,” he told ANI over the phone last week.
The CUET-UG findings were originally supposed to be released on June 30, but they haven’t been made public yet, according to the NTA’s information bulletin. To address the CUET UG result delay, the vice chancellor convened a meeting of the deans of all schools on Thursday.

Many universities, including JNU and Delhi University (DU), are also anticipated to postpone their first-year semesters. The NTA is presently resolving charges of paper leaks concerning NEET-UG and UGC-NET, causing a delay in the release of the CUET-UG results.
46 Central universities use the CUET-UG as their main entrance exam for undergraduate programmes. This year’s exam will be available online and on paper from May 15 to May 31.
All participating universities’ admissions timelines will be impacted by the results’ delay.
