CLAT Result 2017 time: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2017 Results along with the category-wise merit list will be released today by the Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna at 2 PM on http://www.clat.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the test can check their entrance examination results today as soon as the result link has been activated by the university. CLAT is conducted every year for admission to various National Law Universities across the country. Candidates who successfully clear the entrance test, qualify for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the NLUs on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference.’ Due to heavy traffic, the official website of CLAT at clat.ac.in is not working. This is the message that is being displayed when the website is being accessed.”Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: Could not connect to MySQL.”

The entrance examination was conducted by the Chanakya National Law University, Patna on May 14, 2017; between 3 PM to 5 PM. The maximum time available for both UG and PG entrance examinations was two hours only. While the maximum marks for the undergraduate examination is 200, that for postgraduate entrance examination is 150. Negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer was applicable in CLAT 2017.

Admission to top NLUs like National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru; West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata; National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur; Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow; etc takes place through CLAT.

Steps to download CLAT Result 2017:

Candidates who appeared for the test can check their results by following the below mentioned steps-

Step 1: Visit the official website of Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) at cisce.org

Step 2: Once on the homepage, click on results tab

Step 3: Now click on the link that says, ‘Class 12th results’

Step 4: Enter your roll number and other required details in the space provided

Step 5: Click on Submit after entering the details

Step 6: Your results will appear on the screen

Step 7: Once your result appears on the screen, check it and then download

Step 8: Take a print out of the same for future use
