CBSE 10th Result 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the Secondary School Certificate Examination results 2017 at cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. A total of 90.95% students have passed this year as compared to the 96.21% students who passed in 2016. An overall dip of 5.26 per cent has been noted this year. Trivandrum region has highest pass percentage at 99.85, followed by Madras region at 99.62 and Allahabad region at 98.23 per cent. The pass percentage in the Delhi region has fallen by over 13 per cent, 78.09 as against last year’s 91.06 per cent.

The Class 10th region-wise pass percentage are:

Trivandrum- 99.85,
Chennai- 99.62,
Bhubaneswar- 92.15,
Chandigarh- 94.34,
Guwahati- 65.53
Delhi- 78.09,
Patna- 95.50,
Allahabad- 98.23,
Dehradun- 97.27,
Ajmer- 93.30.

Here are the steps to check your CBSE class 10th results online:

Step i: Visit the official of CBSE at cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in

Step ii: On the homepage click on the link that says, ‘CBSE class 10 results’

Step iii: Now enter all the required details

Step iv: Press Login

Step v: Once you enter the results page, check the details mentioned on the results

Step vi: Download your CBSE 10th result 2017 result and take a print out of the same for future

Once you have check your result, follow the below mentioned steps to calculate your CGPA-

If the grade points for the five main subjects are:

Sub I: 9; Sub II: 7; Sub III: 8; Sub IV: 9; Sub V: 8

Step I: Add all the grade points
9+7+8+9+8 = 41

Step II: Divide the sum by 5
41/5 = 8.2
So, 8.2 is your CGPA.

Now, if you want to calculate percentage from the CGPA, here is how you can do it:

To convert your CGPA into percentage, you need to multiply it by 9.5.

In above case, CGPA is 8.2. So, multiply it by 9.5:
8.2 x 9.5 = 77.9
