Out of 4,29,449 students who registered for the exam, 4,22,737 appeared, and 2,70,471 successfully passed. This brings the overall pass percentage to 63.98%. In terms of gender-wise performance, boys outshone girls with a pass percentage of 67.59%, while girls recorded 61.09%.

The Assam HSLC 2025 results showed varied performance across categories. ST (P) students had the highest pass percentage at 71.32%, followed by MOBC at 70.78% and OBC at 69.64%. SC and Tea Tribe candidates recorded lower success rates at 58.56% and 51.89% respectively. General category stood at 62.45%.

Confused between SEBA and ASSEB for the Class 10 results? Here's the clarification.
The Assam board that now oversees both Class 10 and Class 12 exams is called the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB). This new body was formed under the Assam State School Education Board Act, 2024 by merging the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).
ASSEB officially came into effect on September 13, 2024, when R. C. Jain (IAS Retd.) was sworn in as Chairman, alongside Rukma Gohain Baruah as Vice-Chairman of Division-II and other key members. Under this new structure, SEBA now operates as Division – I and AHSEC as Division – II of ASSEB.
So, while the results may still be popularly referred to as SEBA HSLC Result, the official name going forward is the ASSEB 10th Result.
