Registration for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 2024 will close tomorrow, October 25. Aspiring candidates who wish to take the AIBE 19 exam can complete the application form by visiting the official website — allindiabarexamination.com. AIBE is a national-level exam conducted by the BCI for law graduates aspiring to practise law in India. AIBE 19 (XIX), the upcoming edition, is scheduled for November 24, 2024.

The admit cards for AIBE 2024 will be available starting November 18. The Bar Council of India, which conducts the exam, will also provide candidates with an opportunity to correct any errors in their application forms. This editing window will be open until October 30.

For AIBE 2024, the passing mark is set at 45% for candidates in the General and OBC categories, and 40% for SC, ST, and disabled candidates. The exam is open book and will be conducted in 50 cities across 140 centres. A new exam centre has been added in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, for the convenience of students.

The exam, which carries 100 marks, will cover various topics of law, including Constitutional Law, Indian Penal Code, Intellectual Property, Evidence Act, Family Law, Administrative Law, Cyber Law, Taxation Law, Law of Contract, Specific Relief, Property Laws, Negotiable Instruments Act, and the Land Acquisition Act, among others.
