Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech may have raised eyebrows across the border, but Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Union defense and finance ministers — Manohar Parrikar and Arun Jaitley — allegedly found it so boring that they chose to close their eyes and probably meditate. And guess what, Aam Admi Party leader and Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia, like a loyal opponent of the Central government, shared the images with the caption: “It seems @narendramodi ji’s speech was very boring.” In one of the images, both Kejriwal and his wife Sunita are seen sitting with closed eyes, while in another image Jaitley and Parrikar are also seen in sleep mode.
Sisodia also attacked the PM, saying Kashmir is burning and Pakistan managed to attack to India because of Modi’s “policies and character”. “Neither the policy is correct nor the character. No action has been taken against Dalit attacks, farmers are committing suicide, students are sad and new education policy has also become a ‘jumla’,” Sisodia tweeted.

While we are none to judge if PM’s speech was boring, responses from various quarters claimed it to be path breaking as Modi once again raised the issue of Balochistan and took a tough stand against Pakistan’s policy towards India. Not only this, it was probably for the first time in decades, when any PM praised the performance of public sector companies.
