Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday filed his nomination papers in Gajwel for the upcoming Assembly elections. He will be contesting from two Assembly constituencies for the polls – Gajwel and Kamareddy.

The state is all set to go to polls on November 30 and counting of votes will be on December 3. 

After filing his nomination papers, the CM will be addressing a poll rally at Kamareddy in the afternoon, reports PTI. 

On November 4, Rao had visited and performed puja at the Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Konaipally in Siddipet district and offered special prayers ahead of filing his nomination papers. 

After a brief break for Diwali, Rao will resume his tours from November 13.

The BRS chief is set to address 54 ‘Praja Ashirwad’ meetings between November 13 and 28 for the polls. He will address the final rally for the polls on November 28 at Gajwel.
