Four people were killed and more than 10 others were injured in an explosion at a pharmaceutical company in Sangareddy district on Wednesday, reports PTI.
The blast, which occurred around 5 pm, resulted in a fire at the facility.
A senior police official said that the explosion originated from a reactor at the pharmaceutical company, causing nearby individuals to be thrown by its impact.
“So far four people have died, and 10-15 others sustained injuries. They have been transported to a hospital for treatment,” the official stated.
Relief operations are currently underway in response to the incident.
