Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Swati Maliwal on Friday went to Tis Hazari court to record her statement before a magistrate about the alleged assault on her by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aide Bibhav Kumar, reports PTI.
She left her residence at around 11 AM with a Delhi Police team.
On Monday morning, Maliwal went to the Civil Lines police station in Delhi and alleged that a member of Kejriwal’s personal staff “assaulted” her at the chief minister’s official residence.
On Thursday, the Delhi Police registered an FIR in the matter and named Kumar as an accused in the case.

The crisis for the AAP comes at a time when Kejriwal is out on interim bail till June 1. He has been lodged in the Tihar jail in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh also addressed a press conference saying that Kumar had “misbehaved” with Maliwal, and that Kejriwal had directed strict action his aide.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Kumr was spotted at the Lucknow airport alongside Kejriwal, who was in the city to address a press conference with Samajwadi Party chief and INDIA bloc partner Akhilesh Yadav.
When asked about Maliwal’s allegations, Kejriwal didn’t respond, while Yadav said that there are “more important things to discuss” than this.
