Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and Samsung Galaxy A36 5G India prices have been revealed. Both Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 were launched globally on 2nd March, alongside a third smartphone called the Galaxy A26 5G. The A56 starts at Rs 41,999 while the A36 starts at Rs 32,999. Samsung is yet to reveal the price of the A26, which is expected to be the most affordable of the Galaxy A-series trio.

Samsung has launched the A56 5G in a choice of 8GB/128GB for Rs 41,999, 8GB/256GB for Rs 44,999 and 12GB/256GB for Rs 47,999. The A36 5G is available in the same memory configurations with the 8GB/12GB variant priced at Rs 32,999, 8GB/256GB at Rs 35,999 and 12GB/256GB at Rs 38,999, respectively.

The A56 and A36 have a lot in common. They have the same design, display, primary camera, battery and fast charging. They run the same software, too, and are both eligible to get up to six years of OS and security updates. They both run the very latest Samsung One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, which is essentially the same deal as the Galaxy S25 series devices.
Both A56 and A36 have a 6.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and hole punch cut-out at the centre. This houses a 12-megapixel selfie camera. Both devices have a 50-megapixel main camera sensor with f/1.8 optically stabilised lens. Both come powered by a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging.
The Galaxy A56 5G has the Samsung-made Exynos 1580 processor under the hood. The Galaxy A36 5G has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip. The A56 gets a 12-megapixel ultrawide while the A36 has an 8MP ultrawide. Both have 5MP macro cameras.
The A56 and A36 both are IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. The Galaxy A36 comes in Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender and Awesome White. The Galaxy A56 comes in Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive and Awesome Lightgray.
