As the polling for the 199 seats in Rajasthan is currently underway, BJP leader Baba Balak Nath on Saturday rebuked the ruling Congress party in the state, stating that people will favour BJP due to its commitment to foster development and good governance in the state. He is contesting from the Tijara seat.
After casting his vote, in an interaction with ANI at a polling booth in Alwar, the BJP leader said, “It feels great. There is great enthusiasm among people. Citizens of India are ‘Bharat Bhagyavidhata.’ The people of Rajasthan will vote for the BJP, which is dedicated to the development, good governance, and law & order of the state.”

He highlighted that Rajasthan’s electorate will choose the BJP for its focus on state development, good governance, and upholding law and order.
The BJP leader further added, “People were waiting for the day when they could oust these liars and bring a BJP government back to power in the state.”
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former CM Vasundhara Raje, former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot, Congress national spokesperson Gourav Vallabh, Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore, Vishwaraj Singh Mewar, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker CP Joshi, and Rajasthan LoP Rajendra Rathore are among those prominent figures running in this election.
Voting for 199 seats of the Rajasthan Assembly is currently underway, determining the political destiny of 1,862 candidates. Elections are taking place for 199 seats out of the total 200, following the demise of Congress candidate and incumbent MLA Gurmeet Singh Koonar.

The polling began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm, with vote counting scheduled to commence on December 3.
In the 2018 elections, the Congress secured 99 seats, while the BJP clinched 73. With the backing of BSP MLAs and independents, Gehlot assumed the Chief Minister’s position.
