It was a rainy morning in Delhi on Friday with water logging in several parts of the city posing a problem for commuters.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius, which was a notch below the season’s average.
The Safdarjung observatory, which is considered the official reading for the city, recorded 1.2 mm rainfall till 8.30 AM on Friday whereas areas under Ridge, Palam, Ayanagar and Lodhi Road recorded 4.6 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.3 mm and 1.0 mm rainfall respectively till 8:30 AM, a MeT department official said.
The MET department has predicted more rains during the day.
The maximum temperature on Thursday had settled at 33.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius.
