Hotels aggregator OYO has announced its integration with HDFC Bank’s PayZapp, aimed at for easing payments. The integration will allow customers to link their debit and credit card to PayZapp and book rooms by making the payment on a click.
OYO, which now has its presence in over 180 cities, has more than 6,000 hotels and claims that over 60 per cent of its booking comes from mobile app. “OYO is committed to making the hotel booking process seamless and hassle-free. As a result, the app now drives over 60 per cent of our bookings. We have received positive customer feedback on the tie-up with PayZapp and how it complements the three-tap booking experience currently offered by the OYO app. PayZapp will help us reach new customers while enhancing the experience of our existing user-base,” said Ritesh Agarwal, founder and CEO, OYO.
Last week, OYO had announced hotel content deal with UK-based travel commerce platform Travelport under which OYO properties offered will be made available to Travelport users.
