Delhiites witnessed a pleasant morning on Friday after overnight rains caused the mercury to fall below the 20-degrees mark in the national capital.

According to MeT department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 19 degree Celsius which was still one notch above normal.

The city received 6.4 mm of rain in the last 24 hours till 8:30 am, while humidity was recorded at three per cent in the morning.

On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.7 degree Celsius, a notch above the season’s average, while the minimum settled three notches above the normal at 21 degrees Celsius.

The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy skies and there is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 30 degree Celsius.
