Operation Sindoor travel advisory: Due to the current missile strike on Pakistan and sensitive conditions in airspaces, Air India has suspended all flights to and from Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh, and Rajkot until 12 noon on May 7, pending further guidance from authorities. Additionally, two international flights headed for Amritsar are being rerouted to Delhi.

As an aftermath of Operation Sindoor, the Airports Authority of India confirmed that Srinagar airfield has been shut, with no commercial flights operating from the region for the day.

SpiceJet airlines too has announced the closure of several northern Indian airports. Including Dharamshala, Leh, Jammu, Srinagar, and Amritsar until further notice. The airline warned that departures, arrivals, and connecting flights may face disruptions, urging passengers to check their flight status before traveling.

International services have also been affected, with Qatar Airways temporarily halting flights to Pakistan due to the closure of its airspace. The airline emphasized it is closely monitoring developments on Operation Sindoor and remains committed to ensuring the safety of its passengers and crew.

Operation Sindoor comes as a response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Two weeks after Pakistani terrorists took 26 innocent lives, India striked back attacking three terrorist camps.
