Ramesh Garg of Bahujan Samaj Party, who was tipped to be a game changer in Morena, finished at number 3. Madhya Pradesh’s key constituency went to polls in the third phase of the Lok Sabha Elections. According to the Election Commission of India, Morena along with seven other constituencies that polled on May 7, recorded voter turnout of 66.5 per cent. The ECI data shows BJP winning all 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh.

Elections for the first and second phases took place on April 19 and April 26, covering 102 and 89 constituencies respectively.
Rajgarh recorded the highest turnout, with 76.19% of electors casting their votes.
BSP has put forward local industry captain Ramesh Garg, relying heavily on the support of the trader community and resentment towards Rajputs.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and BSP supremo Mayawati have all held crucial meetings and rallies in the region, indicating the significance of this seat.
The state, known as the 'Hindi heartland', has been a stronghold of the BJP, except for Chhindwara, in the last Lok Sabha Elections.
The other constituencies that went to polls on May 7 include Guna, Bhind, Rajgarh, Gwalior, Bhopal, Sagar, and Vidisha, making a total of 29 parliamentary constituencies in Madhya Pradesh.
The counting of votes has begun across Madhya Pradesh.
